  1. Enable NDI Output. The first method is to create an NDI stream of the main (stream) output and/or the preview output (studio mode) in OBS Studio containing all sources visible and the mixed final audio stream, by enabling the NDI Main and/or Preview Output via Tools → NDI Output Settings. In the NDI Output Settings dialog you can give the NDI.
  2. All NDI camera apps should be compatible with all other NDI apps because they use the same standard. This app works great with the Sienna monitor app, but fails to work with the Newtek NDI Video monitor app for Mac. Because it doesn’t work with the Newtek app, I’m not sure it would work with the Tricaster TC1 that I operate.

This plugin adds simple audio/video input and output over IP using NewTek's NDI™ technology.
Three integrations are currently available:
- NDI Source: add NDI Sources into OBS like any traditional source
- NDI Output: transmit the main program view over NDI
- NDI Filter: a special OBS filter that outputs its parent OBS source to NDI (audio works only with video capture sources, media sources and VLC sources)
This plugin requires the NDI 3.0 Runtime to be installed on your system. See installation instructions on the Downloads page for more details.

Any word on the mighty OBS crew working on a completely native M1 version of OBS & any news of how it's going if so? Presumably its a huge job - just wondering if it's even on the cards - and if so how long are we talking till its ready?
I'm currently pushing my current streaming mac (maxed out 2019 MBP) to the absolute max so am starting to think is it time to jump ship to PC now - M1s look great but not keen on running OBS through whatever it does to make it work at the mo...
Anyway just wondering if any of the devs could shed any light? thanks!
